New compact and userfriendly GPS
GP-39 is the replacement for the legendary GP-32, which is one of the most widely used GPS receivers ever. The GP-39 comes with a number of smart features, which are both user friendly and easy to read on the powerful crystal color screen.
Replacement of GP-32 with GP-39
The new GP-39 is designed to fit GP-32. Cut-out, cables, antenna etc. are all identical, so a replacement can be done in a few minutes. Note that this is only the case if you use one connection of the GP-32 (which has two - while GP-39 only has one).

GP-39 has a number of graphical presentation modes with a number of possibilities, like Plotter, Highway, XTE, etc. and also analogue presentation of Speed and Course over Ground.
The included antenna is the very compact GPA-017, which comes with 10 meter cable. The antenna is very reliable and are used today in a high number of installations worldwide. The antenna is connected to the backplane of the GP-39.
GP-39 can easely be un-mounted and be carried along in the included bag, if its inconvinient to leave the GPS on board. The bracket is more narrow than the GPS itself, and there are no annoying screws or fittings. The mounting itself is easy, and is done with a simple 'click' adjustment.
