FURUNO DANMARK has for many years conducted radio survey on behalf of all the major Classification Societies. It is important that emergency and safety equipment is inspected and in good condition so the crew can rely 100% on the equipment if an accident should happen.
Our Radio Technicians have all GOC (General Operator Certificate), which means that they are all familiar with servicing the radio equipment to be checked during the radio survey. Furthermore, Radio Technicians have all participated in courses about the rules that forms the background for radio surveys.
FURUNO DANMARK has close contacts with the classification societies, so that we are always updated about new rules that could affect the performance of radio survey.
To ensure a good quality and traceability of the work carried out, all instruments used by our technicians are constantly calibrated and inspected by an independent test laboratory.
In connection with our quality control system, are all survey reports reviewed internally before they are forwarded to the customer and the classification society.
