INS Voyager

FURUNO introduced its first fully Integrated Navigation System (INS) in 1997. The system became an important contribution to the growing market for advanced Deep Sea Navigational solutions especially for newbuildings above 10,000GT.

With the introduction of the 2^nd Generation of the new Integrated Navigation System FURUNO INS in 2006, the FURUNO INS system has been installed in more than 400 vessels world wide.

The Furuno INS systems includes dual ECDIS systems, dual radar systems , dual GPS and integrated Track steering systems - all connected in a redundant Ethernet system fulfilling all major Notations issued by the classification societies.
