VDR Systems

FURUNO markets sophisticated Voyage data recording systems. The VR 3000 series fulfil the requirements for new SOLAS vessels above 3,000 GT and the VR 3000S – the simplified Voyage data recorder is to be utilized for upgrading of existing vessels build before 1^st July 2006.

Both systems are cost effective and ‘easy to install’ units fulfilling the IMO mandatory installation requirements. The final ‘deadline’ for installation of S-VDR is 1^st July 2010 for cargo vessels above 3,000 GT and less than 20,000 GT.
