The Orbit Antenna System is available in Ku-band-, X-band-, or C-band-versions.

Furthermore, the AL-7103 antenna system can be offered as a Dual system, comprising two antenna systems and one below-deck unit. This system version is typically used if the vessel/platform has numerous on-deck obstacles, blocking the line of sight to the satellite. The system can automatically change antenna if the system currently used is blocked.

The Orbit AL-7103 MKII antenna system is type approved by both INTELSAT as well as EUTELSAT.

Furuno Danmark A/S can also provide a combined solution with a VSAT system combined with e.g. an Inmarsat FleetBroadband System. The solution can be configured to give priority to one system and if the vessel leaves a coverage area of one of the systems, it is switched to the other system. This provides an unprecedented security to be able to be online at sea.
